How does iCloud sync work?

Box Keeper automatically syncs your data across all your Apple devices using your personal iCloud account. Just sign in with the same Apple ID on each device and your spaces, boxes, and items will appear automatically.

Can I share spaces with family members?

Yes! With a Pro subscription, you can share any space with others via iCloud sharing. They'll see all boxes and items in that space in real time.

How does AI photo recognition work?

When you add a photo to an item, Box Keeper can automatically suggest a name and tags using AI. Photos are sent securely, used only for recognition, and never stored. You can enable or disable this in Settings > AI Recognition.

What happens if I cancel my Pro subscription?

All your data is preserved. You'll still have access to everything you've created, but you won't be able to create beyond the free limits (3 spaces, 10 boxes per space, 25 items per box) or use Pro features like sharing and AI recognition.

How do I restore my purchase on a new device?

Go to Settings and tap "Restore Purchases". Your Pro subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will restore automatically.

How do I back up my data?

Go to Settings > Data Management > Export Backup. This creates a ZIP file with all your data and photos that you can save or share. To restore, use Import Backup from the same screen (Pro feature).

How do I delete my data?

You can delete individual items, boxes, or spaces from within the app. To remove all data, delete the app from your device. To also remove iCloud data, go to your Apple ID settings > iCloud > Manage Storage > Box Keeper.
